Cretcheu Cabo Verde,
Einmal mehr hast du mich verzaubert – mit deiner Musik, deinen herzlichen Inselbewohnern, dem köstlichen Essen und deiner Vielfalt.
Geschaffen, aber auch sehr erfüllt bin ich nach einer zweiwöchigen Gruppenreise zurück gekehrt. Zurück in meinen Alltag, in eine ganz andere Welt. Was bleibt ist die „Sodade“ – Cesária Evora lässt grüssen. Ein Song, der jeder Kapverde Reisende bald mal mit summen kann. Ob Morna, Coladeira oder Funana – deine Musik trifft mitten ins Herz und ist pures Seelenbalsam. Zwei Wochen lang durfte ich fast jeden Abend "musica ao vivo" aufsaugen, mitsingen, tanzen und einfach nur geniessen.
Für den Start ins neue Jahr gibt’s von mir darum eine gehörige Portion Musik.
Falls ihr Euch fragt, was die Sängerin (Mayra Andrade) für ein Instrument in der Hand hält: der Ferrinho (von ferro - Eisen) ist ein flach geriffelter Eisenstab. Er wird mit einer Art von Messer gerieben und dient als Perkussionsinstrument.
Einer meiner Lieblingssongs. Tito Paris stammt aus der Kulturstadt Mindelo und versprüht mit seinen Coladeiras einfach nur gute Laune. Er gehört mit seinen 60 Jahren bereits zur "alten Garde" - seine Songs sind jedoch zeitlos und werden in den Musikkneipen rauf und runter gespielt.
Akkordeon, Ferrinho und Lura. Das ergibt einen rassigen Funana, welcher die Menschen begeistert und zum tanzen anregt. Lura ist eine der angesagtesten Künstlerinnen von Cabo Verde.
